Many organizations use TOGAF^TM, The Open Group Architecture Framework, as guiding architecture framework, and the modelling language ArchiMate^® for modelling and analysis of their enterprise architecture. Both TOGAF and ArchiMate are open standards, managed by The Open Group. BiZZdesign Academy offers certification courses for both TOGAF and ArchiMate.

TOGAF
The Open Group Architecture Framework, TOGAF, is a detailed method and a set of supporting tools for developing an enterprise architecture (see this leaflet or www.opengroup.org/architecture). It describes the process for acceptance, production, use and maintenance of enterprise architectures. TOGAF is used world wide by numerous architects to design, evaluate, and build the right architecture for their organization.

ArchiMate
ArchiMate is The Open Group standard for modelling and analysis of enterprise architecture (see www.opengroup.org/archimate). The core of ArchiMate is a graphical design language to consistently model business and IT architectures in coherence with each other. Next to the design language, ArchiMate offers a range of techniques for visualizing, analyzing, designing, and using enterprise architecture to support business change. ArchiMate provides instruments to support enterprise architects in describing, analyzing and visualizing the relationships within and among business domains in an unambiguous way.

Certification courses
To ensure that TOGAF and ArchiMate are fully understood and correctly applied within your organization, training is of great importance. The success of the enterprise architecture effort in your organization will dramatically increase when you use these instruments correctly and to the point. Participate in a TOGAF or ArchiMate certification course, and become officially certified by The Open Group.

The TOGAF certification course takes you through the TOGAF material, using a case study to illustrate and practice TOGAF. In this course, presentations, case studies, hands-on exercises, and real life examples are combined to ensure the best possible learning curve. The TOGAF certified tool BiZZdesign Architect is used to illustrate and practice during the course. As part of the training package, BiZZdesign Academy will also register you as TOGAFTM certified at The Open Group.

The ArchiMate certification course takes students through the ArchiMate material, using a case study to illustrate and practice ArchiMate. In this course, presentations, case studies, hands-on exercises, and real life examples are combined to ensure the best possible learning curve. The ArchiMate certified tool BiZZdesign Architect is used to illustrate and practice during the course. As part of the training package, BiZZdesign Academy will register you as ArchiMate® certified at The Open Group.

It is also possible to attend a combined TOGAF and ArchiMate certification course. This results in certification for both TOGAF and ArchiMate!
