IAFWorkbench PDF Print

One commonly used architecture framework is the Integrated Architecture Framework (IAF®), developed by Capgemini. The Integrated Architecture Framework is used to structure and describe enterprise architecture. BiZZdesign's IAFworkbench is a powerful toolsuite supporting the use of IAF.

IAF describes how enterprise architecture should be developed and used, which elements an architecture consists of, and how these elements should be related to eachother. IAF has four abstraction layers (Contextual - Why?, Conceptual - What?, Logical - How? and Physical - With what?), and six aspect areas (Business, Information, Information systems, Technology, Security, and Governance). IAF is a registered trademark of Capgemini.

BiZZdesign's IAFworkbench is a powerful toolsuite supporting the use of IAF. The IAFworkbench supports describing architectures and visualizing and analyzing the conherence between architectural domains, impact of change analysis, etc. IAFworkbench is certified by Capgemini as IAF supporting tool. More information on the IAFworkbench can be found in this flyer.
